Printing Receiver

Here we are indicating in a receiver, getting ready to true the integral lugs, threads and face of reciever. The receiver is dialed within .0001 before starting.
Borescope Service

We now have a new borescope service, which can go into your barrel and look at your chamber, throat and lands to see if the barrel is worn out or not. No need to spend money on glass bedding, tuning triggers, recrowning etc., only to find out that you have a bad barrel. This also works very well on new barrel installation. One can look at the throat to determine proper length.
Stoney Point

Shown here we are checking the throat length with a Stoney Point Guage. All headspace and throat demensions are done in the lathe before removing.
Bolt Sleeving

Shown here we are sleeving a Remington XP100 bolt. The sleeve can be seen just to the left of the bolt handle. After indicating the bolt body, so it is running true, the sleeve is turned to proper diameter.
Chambering

Chambering a barrel with a coolant going through the barrel to cool and more importantly to remove the fine chips from the chamber. This is to insure that we do not scratch the chamber. Also a dial indicator is being used to make sure that the right depth is obtained.
Fluting

Shown here is the set up for fluting on our Bridgeport mill using an indexer.

| This is our new state of the art Clausing 14×40 inch lathe. It is very accurate and is used only for barrel work and gun building. We also have a smaller 13×36 lathe that we use for everyday jobs that come in. | ![]() |
